A happy hour for Berks businesses, with three short AI talks as the excuse.

It's a happy hour first.
Bar, drinks, name tags, people you should know. The talks are twenty-two minutes of the ninety. Nobody reads slides about the future; presenters show the real thing on real screens.
Not a sales event.
We host and buy the first round. We give one seven-minute talk like everyone else. If you want to talk shop with us, find us at the bar. Nobody gets pitched from the stage.
For operators, not developers.
Owners, GMs, office managers, controllers, sales leads. If you run the work, you belong here. You don't need to know how any of it works yet.
Local on purpose.
Same county, same kinds of problems. The best idea you'll hear is the one from the business two exits down that already fixed the thing you're stuck on.

The best talk in the room is usually from someone who says "I'm not a tech person, but here's what I did." Here's how it works:

Seven minutes. The pain, what you built or set up, what it saves, and one thing you'd tell a beginner. That's the whole structure.
Real screens beat slides. Show the spreadsheet, the inbox, the prompt. The room wants to see it work.
A 15-minute prep call the week before. With David from Metronome Labs. We make sure your talk lands. No one goes up cold.
You keep the recording. Edited and captioned, the day after. Most presenters post it themselves.
You decide what to name. Tools, vendors, numbers. Say as much or as little as you want.

The night is for Berks businesses to learn from each other. If you want to talk about your business specifically, we're the ones at the bar with the name tags.

What does it cost?
Nothing. Your first drink is on us. After that, the bar is a bar.
Do I need to know anything about AI?
No. Half the room is there to see one real example. Bring the task you'd hand off tomorrow if you could.
Can I bring someone?
Please do. Have them save a seat so we get the headcount right for drinks.
Where is it?
Reading, PA. The venue is confirmed to everyone who registers ahead of the night.
Is it recorded?
The talks are. Presenters agree in advance and keep their own recording. The networking is not filmed.
How often?
Monthly, second Thursday, same time, same bar. Next up after October 8: November 12 and December 10.
