A monthly happy hour in Reading for business owners and the people who run the work. Three seven-minute talks from Berks businesses on what AI actually took off their plate. You vote. Then it's a bar.
A happy hour for Berks businesses, with three short AI talks as the excuse.
Bar, drinks, name tags, people you should know. The talks are twenty-two minutes of the ninety. Nobody reads slides about the future; presenters show the real thing on real screens.
We host and buy the first round. We give one seven-minute talk like everyone else. If you want to talk shop with us, find us at the bar. Nobody gets pitched from the stage.
Owners, GMs, office managers, controllers, sales leads. If you run the work, you belong here. You don't need to know how any of it works yet.
Same county, same kinds of problems. The best idea you'll hear is the one from the business two exits down that already fixed the thing you're stuck on.
Doors at five. Talks start at 5:20 sharp so you're back to networking, or home, by 6:30.
No panel, no rubric. One question, answered by everyone in the room, decides it.
Two presenters from Berks businesses, one from us. Each gets seven minutes to show something real. The room votes on business value, not polish.
The same training we ran for the Greater Reading Chamber, run for your team, at your place.
Edited and captioned. Yours to post, send to customers, or show your team.
You don't need to be technical. You need one thing you did that works.
Raise my handThe best talk in the room is usually from someone who says "I'm not a tech person, but here's what I did." Here's how it works:
You've heard the noise. You want to see one real thing, done by someone you could call, before you decide anything.
Finance, admin, ops, sales follow-up. You know exactly which task eats your week. You want to know if it can go away.
You've built something that works. You want to compare notes with people who'll actually get it. You might present.
Metronome Labs is a Reading company that helps businesses put AI to work. We host the happy hour, buy the first round, and give one seven-minute talk picked for the room. That's it. The night is for Berks businesses to learn from each other. If you want to talk about your business specifically, we're the ones at the bar with the name tags.
Nothing. Your first drink is on us. After that, the bar is a bar.
No. Half the room is there to see one real example. Bring the task you'd hand off tomorrow if you could.
Please do. Have them save a seat so we get the headcount right for drinks.
Reading, PA. The venue is confirmed to everyone who registers ahead of the night.
The talks are. Presenters agree in advance and keep their own recording. The networking is not filmed.
Monthly, second Thursday, same time, same bar. Next up after October 8: November 12 and December 10.
Tell us you're coming so the first round is waiting. One question on the form helps us pick the talk we give. Answer it honestly and we'll aim it at the room.
Confirmation lands in your inbox with a calendar file. Venue details follow. One reminder the day before. That's all.
See you Thursday, October 8 at 5:00.
Confirmation is on its way with a calendar file. Venue details go to everyone registered ahead of the night.
Bringing someone? Send them to metronomelabs.io/happy-hour so the headcount is right.
